Zander is four!

Actually, I can believe this one. He acts and speaks and thinks old. The trouble he gets into is often quite sophisticated. Oh, I love this guy. My sister, Camie (see her blog), wrote about him/his birth, and it made me think about how she came at 2am to see him come into this world. Well, for his birthday, he had ice cream for breakfast, went on a train ride, had two different tractor cakes (the second of which turned out considerably better than the first), got a big bouncy train with a slide to play in, and got a lot of attention. He was quite joyful all day (and then all the next, as his friend birthday party was on Friday). Here he is in the morning, with a fresh ice cream high, opening birthday presents - life just doesn't get much better than this. His main present was a CD player shaped like Lightning McQueen, and he has been jamming to music ever since. He likes to bring it down into the kitchen, turn it on full volume, sing full volume, and dance like crazy. It is very fun. I'm so glad we got this little guy.

Did you make that cake? You are awesome. So is Zander. I think he is so great. I love to have him over to my house, whatever the price may be. He he. Bella loves him too. I am so sad we missed his birthday. Next year, I promise.

What cuteness! I am glad that he had such a fun day! And I liked those cakes! And the only on Camie's blog was really cool too!

I think the thing I love most about Zander is his smile and cute facial expressions. I just can't get enough of his great smile! Keep smiling like that, Zander, and you'll never get in THAT much trouble. Happy number four!
