Watch, Every"bird"y!

My cute sister, Camie, works at the Inland Sea Shorebird Reserve for Kennecott as a biologist. This last weekend, they had their Bird Festival, and, naturally, my bird-loving children attended. There was quite a large turnout.
Camie had several activities for the kids, including making bird feeders, a bird facts notebook, a real bird nest, and a search for several species of birds with their own pair of binoculars. The kids loved it. Camie did a very good job.

Irelynd is especially enamoured with her Aunt Camie and claims that she is going to be just like her when she grows up. I am lucky to have such a good role model for my kids in my sister. Camie, you are really pretty cool!

Thanks for sharing those pics, Min. Camie told me a little bit about this, but I didn't really realize what a to-do it was. I'll have to ask more! She is very awesome.
